Nicol
Klein, chief creative officer of On The Mark
Communications, merged her entrepreneurial drive with a
proven creative skill set and unique artistic character to
establish the full-service marketing communications firm
with her sister, Christine Spigai, in January 2001.
Nicol
works with On The Mark clients to help them create brand
awareness and deliver key messages through the development
of collateral pieces, direct mail, advertising and
e-messaging. She is proud to include Harley-Davidson, Imaginova (d.b.a Space.com, Space News and Starry Night),
The International Insurance Society, NationalCard
Processing Systems, April Cornell and Rutgers University
on her company client list.
Nicol’s
background centers on the advertising and design arena. In
addition to an early career as a freelance artist, Nicol
spent many years serving as creative director for a
national credit card processing company where she was
responsible for the development and implementation of all
the company’s marketing and advertising efforts. Later,
taking a creative director’s position with that company’s
sister division, Nicol was instrumental in the development
of its direct marketing department. There, in addition to
managing the company’s own marketing efforts, she
supported the division’s million-dollar revenue stream by
providing and supervising the graphic design, production
and printing services for thousands of client direct mail
pieces. Her clients at that time included prestigious
retailers such as Michael C. Fina, Harve Benard, Donna Karan,
Bruno Magli, Eileen Fisher, J.P. Tods, and Samsonite.
Nicol
holds a degree in Advertising Design from the Fashion
Institute of Technology, New York, NY.
